The absorbent wicking layer is designed to absorb your period, ensuring dryness and comfort throughout your period. The moisture-proof layer protects against leaks.

The panties are reusable, which means they can be washed and worn again.

Will my TTOTM panties leak?

These state-of-the-art panties, if used properly, won’t leak. Please read our care guide and make sure you are using the correct absorbency for your flow. Also, when they start to feel saturated or the sides feel wet, then it’s time for a fresh pair so you can glow with the flow.

Do they smell?

This is always the first question we get asked. The answer is no.

No, the panties do not smell. You will not smell. There is no smell.

This is thanks to our Oeko-Tex© cotton wicking first layer that is built into the panties. This cotton fabric is designed to quickly absorb liquid and keep it away from the skin. From there, the liquid goes to the absorbency layer and the waterproof layer keeps it from leaking out.

We will always highlight the importance of good self-care and menstrual hygiene habits, particularly during your period. Be kind to yourself and maintain your body's wellbeing.

Are TTOTM period panties reusable?

Absolutely, our period panties are reusable. After use, wash, wear, wash, repeat!

What is OEKO-TEX® all about?

OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 is a label for textiles tested for harmful substances. It sets the benchmark for textile safety, from yarn to finished product. Every item bearing the STANDARD 100 label is certified as having passed safety tests for the presence of harmful substances1. This certification ensures that the certified article is harmless to human health. Whether it’s the thread, button, or accessory, each component undergoes testing against a list of over 1,000 harmful substances. The more intensive the skin contact, the stricter the human ecology requirements and laboratory tests1. In essence, OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 provides peace of mind for consumers by ensuring that textiles meet stringent safety criteria. 🌿👕

Why is OEKO-TEX® so important?

When choosing a supplier of Period Underwear to partner with, needed to be 100% certain that our products had no harmful substances and that they were sustainably sourced.

OEKO-TEX® is an independent European registered testing agency that gave us the assurance we needed to provide a high quality product to market.

Are TTOTM period panties comfortable?

Crafted for comfort, TTOTM period panties are made from soft, breathable materials and are seamless to prevent any discomfort or chafing, providing an excellent alternative to traditional menstrual products.

What sizes do TTOTM panties come in?

TTOTM period panties are available in XS-3XL. Not all our cuts come in all of the sizes so please check the filters.

Because all booties are bootiful 💜 we have done our best to be as size inclusive as possible. So if you see a style you like but that’s not in your size, pop us a note and we will do our best to fit you out.

Are they pretty?

Yes 💜 Very.

Washing And Hygiene

Must I wash my TTOTM period panties before I wear them?

Absolutely, it's a resounding yes from us! Not only is it a fantastic hygiene move, but it will also activate the absorbent fabric in the underwear.

How often should I change my TTOTM period panties?

Our TTOTM underwear can absorb up to 5 regular tampons worth of blood. However, the frequency of changing your period panties depends on your individual flow and comfort level.

Every day of your period is different and we have different absorbencies to cater for your different flows.

When you notice the seams of your undies getting wet or the panties feel saturated, then it’s time to change
them.

How do I wash my TTOTM period panties?

What is a wetbag used for?

It’s a waterproof bag to carry a change of period panties. Put your clean pair in and when it’s time to change, just pop the used pair in and wash both when you get home. A must-have for any collection.

What is a laundry bag?

It’s a neat little mesh bag that you put your period panties in. It zips closed and goes in the washing machine. The laundry bag stops your panties from flying around the machine drum and getting damaged amongst the other washing.

Absorbency

Tell me about period panty absorbency?

Period panties come in various absorbency levels to cater to different flows, much like pads and tampons.
Generally speaking, it goes like this:

Light absorbency:
Suitable for light flow days or as a backup with other menstrual products.

Moderate absorbency:
Designed for moderate flow days, providing more substantial protection.

Heavy absorbency:
Ideal for heavy flow days, offering maximum protection and minimising the need for additional menstrual products.

What is the swimsuit disclaimer all about?

We just want to play this safe. At TTOTM we are all about positive vibes and body confidence so we want you and your cozzi to make friends at home before you hit the school pool. We know she is good for a lap or two but she is no tsunami stopper. At just a 2 on the flow chart, she will absorb your period and the blood won’t leak. But we do think it’s best to check the boundaries before we dive into unfamiliar territory.

Can I use my TTOTM period panties at night?

Yes, they absorb in any position and they are super comfy. You can sleep peacefully in our period panties.

Are TTOTM period panties cheaper than pads and tampons in the long run?

Yes, even though the initial investment is higher, TTOTM period panties can last for an extended period (pun intended😉)

With proper care, they can last you up to 50 washes or about a year.

The exact cost savings depend on a few things, like how often you use them, how often you replace them, and the frequency of your menstrual cycle. Over time, we feel that investing in reusable period panties not only saves money but also contributes to a more sustainable, body-safe, and eco-friendly approach to managing your period.

How many pairs of our period panties do I need?

It depends on your flow, how often you wash them and of course how much sun is available because the tumble dryer is a hard no.

Most people find that having three to five in rotation during their period is generally enough but hey, even one is better than none.

When should I replace my TTOTM period panties?

We recommend treating yourself to a new set of period panties once a year. We will send you a gentle reminder because we know life’s busy …

Of course the magic number still depends on how often you use them.

What Else Can I Use My Period Panties For?

Can I use my TTOTM period panties with pads or tampons?

You can, yes. If you feel like you need extra protection, then by all means double up.

What about light incontinence?

If you would like to use our underwear for light incontinence then we suggest using the heavy flow period underwear. They can comfortably absorb up to 25 ml of liquid. Our briefs and mid-briefs have a waterproof strip and twill fabric that immediately absorbs liquid and prevents odours.

Don’t let the squats, sneezes or giggles get in the way of your fabulous!

What about post-partum?

If you would like to use our underwear after the birth of your little on then then we suggest using the heavy flow period underwear. As your flow get lighter then we suggest a mid-flow range for everyday wear.

Our boyshorts are amazing to sleep in and will absorb from any position. One less thing to worry about during the night-time feeds.

The Important Stuff

Do you have a period panties starter pack?

We thought about it, but because it’s such a personal choice, we cannot decide what to put in it for you. If you haven’t tried period panties before, then just pick one, any one, there is no right or wrong choice. 😊

If you have already experienced the life-changing magic of this product, then we suggest pick three that you like, depending on your flow. If your flow is heavier, take two heavy flow and one medium. If your flow is not so heavy, take one heavy two lighter flow. You can always add to your collection at a later stage.

What is your returns policy?

Without mincing words, we sell underwear for the purpose of absorbing menstrual blood. So just like a retailer won’t take back underwear, we also won’t take back period panties.

We can’t compromise our health and safety standards and we are sure you understand why. We can’t risk an ‘unused’ or ‘tried on over my’ going back into stock and being resold. Not cool for the next consumer and we know you will agree.

Be extra careful that you order the right size and use our measuring guidelines. Measure carefully in centimetres. Waist is where the top of the panties would sit. Adjust your measurement as per the cut description. Hips are the fullest part of your bootiful bootie. 💜

We did the measurements ourselves with a standard South African soft white measuring tape that we nicked from Ayla’s mom and took an average across the cuts. Please allow for a margin of up to 2 cm as variations can occur in production.

A note from us and our reviews is that the nylon has less stretch and the bamboo has more stretch because of the fabric composition.

Aaaand, if you are still worried then rather order a size bigger. Rather more comfortable than less. You can also mail us for guidelines, we are always on hand to help.

Do you have free shipping?

Yes we do. All orders over R750 after discounts qualify for free shipping.
Otherwise it's a flat R90 fee anywhere in the country.
